In this way are obtained 54.6 g of a reddish liquid crude that solidifies. The crude is distilled at a pressure of 35 mbar and a fraction is collected of (E)-1,1,1-trifluoro-4-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-3-buten-2-one at 107-14C (43 g, 81%).
