Jimenez-Almarza, Alicia;Lopez-Magano, Alberto;Mas-Balleste, Ruben;Aleman, Jose research published Tuning the Activity-Stability Balance of Photocatalytic Organic Materials for Oxidative Coupling Reactions the research content is summarized as follows. In the series of materials reported herein, the triazine-based material shows the optimal compromise between activity and stability when studied for the oxidative coupling of amines, achieving imine products. Accordingly, while significant leaching of mol. active fragments was ruled out for triazine-based polymers, other materials of the series show a significant chem. erosion as a result of the reaction with the amine substrates. Consequently, only a triazine-based material allowed performing several catalytic cycles (up to seven) with yields higher than 80%. The applicability of this heterogeneous catalyst had been proven with a variety of substrates, confirming its stability and obtaining diverse imine coupling products with excellent yields.

Jiang, Donghao;Zhang, Jian; He, Hongfu;Li, Jiao;Hu, Deyu;Song, Baoan research published ã€?Discovery of novel chromone derivatives containing a sulfonamide moiety as potential anti-TSWV agentsã€? the research content is summarized as follows. A number of chromone derivatives containing sulfonamide structure were designed and synthesized. Firstly, the target compounds were evaluated for anti-TSWV activities in vivo by the half-leaf method. We found that most of the compounds had good anti-TSWV activities. Among them, compound 12B had excellent anti-TSWV inactivating activity with an EC50 of 80.5 μg/mL, which was significantly better than xiangcaoliusuobingmi (765.7 μg/mL). Secondly, TSWV nucleocapsid protein (N) was expressed and purified, and the affinity between the compounds and TSWV N was tested by microscale thermophoresis (MST). Compound 12B had a good affinity for TSWV N with a Kd value of 5.02 μM, which was superior to xiangcaoliusuobingmi (29.83 μM). Finally, in order to study the mode of interaction between the compound 12B and TSWV N, we carried out mol. docking. The results indicated that compound 12B might inactivate the virus by destroying the TSWV N oligomer structure. These results lay a solid foundation for the further discovery of chromone derivatives containing sulfonamide structure with high anti-TSWV activities.

Jiang, Bei-Er;Hu, Jiaxin;Liu, Hao;Liu, Zhitao;Wen, Yu;Liu, Mingyao;Zhang, Han-Kun;Pang, Xiufeng;Yu, Li-Fang research published ã€?Design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of indole-based hydroxamic acid derivatives as histone deacetylase inhibitorsã€? the research content is summarized as follows. The equilibrium between histone acetylation and deacetylation plays an important role in cancer initiation and progression. The histone deacetylases (HDACs) are a class of key regulators of gene expression that enzymically remove an acetyl moiety from acetylated lysine ε-amino groups on histone tails. Therefore, HDAC inhibitors have recently emerged as a promising strategy for cancer therapy and several pan-HDAC inhibitors have globally been approved for clin. use. In the present study, we designed and synthesized a series of substituted indole-based hydroxamic acid derivatives that exhibited potent anti-proliferative activities in various tumor cell lines. Among the compounds tested, compound 4o (I), was found to be among the most potent in the inhibition of HDAC1 (half maximal inhibitory concentration, IC50 = 1.16 nM) and HDAC6 (IC50 = 2.30 nM). It also exhibited excellent in vitro anti-tumor proliferation activity. Addnl., compound 4o effectively increased the acetylation of histone H3 in a dose-dependent manner and inhibited cell proliferation by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Moreover, compound 4o remarkably blocked colony formation in HCT116 cancer cells. Based on its favorable in vitro profile, compound 4o was further evaluated in an HCT116 xenograft mouse model, in which it demonstrated better in vivo efficacy than the clin. used HDAC inhibitor, suberanilohydroxamic acid. Interestingly, compound 4k (II) was found to have a preference for the inhibition of HDAC6, with IC50 values of 115.20 and 5.29 nM against HDAC1 and HDAC6, resp.

Ji, Yuan-Zhao;Zhang, Chi;Wang, Jun-Hu;Li, Hui-Jing;Wu, Yan-Chao research published Direct conversion of sulfinamides to thiosulfonates without the use of additional redox agents under metal-free conditions the research content is summarized as follows. Direct conversion of sulfinamides to thiosulfonates is described. Without the use of addnl. redox agents, the reaction proceeds smoothly in the presence of TFA under metal-free conditions. This protocol possesses many advantages such as odourless and stable starting materials, broad substrate scope, selective synthesis, and mild reaction conditions.

2905-24-0, 3-Bromobenzenesulfonyl chloride is an aryl sulfonyl chloride derivative. It participates in the synthesis of N-sulfonylanthranilic acid derivatives and potent P1benzenesulfonyl azacyclic urea human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) protease inhibitors.
3-Bromobenzenesulfonyl chloride is a molecule that can be used to inhibit the uptake of 3-bromobenzoate. The inhibition of uptake is due to the desymmetrization of the unsymmetrical, 3-bromobenzoate. This reaction leads to an increase in the concentration of 3-bromobenzoate. Inhibition studies have shown that 3-bromobenzenesulfonyl chloride has an inhibitory effect on cancer cells and apoptosis pathway. The structural studies have shown that this drug is synthetic and biphenyl can be synthesized from it. T-cell lymphomas have been shown to be inhibited by this drug and heart disease has also been inhibited., Safety of 3-Bromobenzenesulfonyl chloride

Ji, Xiaoming;Wei, Feng;Wan, Bin;Cheng, Cang;Zhang, Yanghui research published Palladium-catalyzed intermolecular C-H silylation initiated by aminopalladation the research content is summarized as follows. A Pd(II)-catalyzed intermol. C-H silylation reaction initiated by aminopalladation was developed. The C-H bonds were activated by an alkyl Pd(II) species generated through aminopalladation and then disilylated with hexamethyldisilane to form disilylated indolines as the final products. The reaction provides a new method for the introduction of silyl groups into complex organic mols.
