An economical and practical manufacturing process for an 11β-HSD-1 inhibitor was reported. The key feature of synthesis was identification of a unique and effective MeO-BoQPhos ligand for Ir-catalyzed asym. hydrogenation of a fused tricyclic indenopyridinium salt. It was first highly reactive chiral P,N ligand system to be utilized in asym. pyridine reduction The enantioenriched indanopiperidine was produced with a low catalyst loading of 1000 ppm [Ir(COD)Cl]2. The challenges and solutions for final active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) physicochem. properties were also described. This asym. synthesis of API was accomplished in 38% overall yield with >99.8% ee and >99.5 area % purity. This overall process resulted in a much shorter production cycle and significant waste reduction on manufacturing scale.

Chiral Ir complexes ligated by anionic oxazoline-bearing NCP-type pincer ligands were developed and applied to the asym. transfer hydrogenation (ATH) of diarylethenes using environmentally benign EtOH as the H donor. The present work describes the twin functional photocatalysis promoted by a Cu/Cu2O decorated g-C3N4 heterojunction where the electrons at the Cu/Cu2O surface reduced CO2 to methanol selectively and holes facilitated oxidative coupling of benzylamines without any external sacrificial electron donors under ambient conditions. The heterojunction photocatalyst was prepared by refluxing g-C3N4 with copper precursors at 70°C. The structural and morphol. properties of the heterojunction were determined using XRD, FTIR, XPS, UV-vis, HR-TEM and PL spectroscopy. Photoelectrochem. measurements determined the electronic and photoactive properties. Following this twin strategy of CO2 utilization along with the oxidation of organic compounds into other valuable chems. in a single process may provide new opportunities for sustainable development and maintain the atom economy.

Recommanded Product: (4-Chlorophenyl)methanamine, 4-Chlorobenzylamine is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C7H8ClN and its molecular weight is 141.6 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.
4-Chlorobenzylamine is a reactant in the environmentally friendly synthesis of pyrroles.
4-Chlorobenzylamine is a chemical that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds. It has low bioavailability, which may be due to its reactive site. The chemical can be characterized using nmr spectra and potent inhibitory activity. 4-Chlorobenzylamine has been found to react with nitrogen atoms, and this reaction is highly acidic. FT-IR spectroscopy can also be used to characterize this compound. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding and hydroxyl group are two of the major interactions of 4-chlorobenzylamine with other molecules. This chemical reacts with serine protease, glyoxal, and other substances in a manner that depends on the molecule’s structure., 104-86-9.

Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) Dichloride is a catalyst used in the iridium-catalyzed asymmetry hydrogenation of unfunctionalized exocyclic double carbon bonds. Also, it is used to test new NeoPHOX ligands derived from serine or threonine.
Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) dichloride is an acid that can be prepared using a preparative method. It is an organometallic compound that can be used in the cross-coupling of activated terminal alkynes with aryl halides. Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) dichloride has been synthesized by reacting furfural with chloride and acetonitrile. The ligand used was 2,2′-bipyridine. The reaction time to produce bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) dichloride is approximately three hours.

Popov, Stepan;Plenio, Herbert research published 《 Determination of Stereoelectronic Properties of NHC Ligands via Ion Pairing and Fluorescence Spectroscopy》, the research content is summarized as follows. We present an exptl. method, which provides information on the steric and electronic properties of ligands in metal complexes. This approach is based on the equilibrium of ion-pairing of a cationic [(NHC)Ir(cod)]+ and a fluorescent BODIPY-sulfonate (bdpSO3). The close ion-pair of [(NHC)Ir(bdpSO3)(cod)] in toluene solution is weakly fluorescent, but dissociates into solvent-separated ion pairs upon exposure to slightly more polar solvents. This spatial separation leads to a very pronounced increase of the fluorescence. The separation into distinct ions depends on the polarity of the solvent, but more importantly also on the stereoelectronic properties of the NHC ligand. 26 Different NHC ligands with varying steric and electronic properties were probed in 1,2-dichloroethane solvent. The electronic properties of the ligands were examined via the established descriptors (redox potential and ν(CO)). The systematic variation of NHC donation enables the deconvolution of electronic and steric contributions of the resp. ligand.
