Resultantly, the BBD-TFC membrane achieves a reasonably high pure water permeability of 31.6 ± 2.1 L m-2 h-1 bar-1, ∼ 4 times higher than that of the pristine polyamide membrane. Notably, the resultant membrane exhibits excellent antifouling and antibacterial properties in the treatment of the leachate benefiting from the more hydrophilic surface and neg. potential on BBD-TFC. Meanwhile, high rejection ratio of divalent ions and organic matter (R > 95%) was also attained companying with high separation efficiency of divalent/monovalent ions.
