Tan, Wen-Juan published the artcileA photochromic diarylethene dyad based on perylene diimide, Recommanded Product: 5-Chloro-3-[2-(5-chloro-2-methylthien-3-yl)cyclopent-1-en-1-yl]-2-methylthiophene, the publication is Dyes and Pigments (2011), 89(3), 260-265, database is CAplus.
A new photochromic diarylethene dyad based on perylene diimide (PDI-DTE) was synthesized. The photochromic reaction of PDI-DTE induced the significant change of the absorption spectra and fluorescence intensity. The color of PDI-DTE in THF solution was not changed obviously upon UV irradiation, while the fluorescence intensity is increased unexpectedly with the photochromic cyclization of the diarylethene units. With not visible change of color accompanied to the enhanced fluorescence, PDI-DTE can be potentially applied to anti-counterfeiting technol.
Dyes and Pigments published new progress about 219537-97-0. 219537-97-0 belongs to chlorides-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Fused/Partially Saturated Cycles,Cyclopentenes, name is 5-Chloro-3-[2-(5-chloro-2-methylthien-3-yl)cyclopent-1-en-1-yl]-2-methylthiophene, and the molecular formula is C8H8BNO2, Recommanded Product: 5-Chloro-3-[2-(5-chloro-2-methylthien-3-yl)cyclopent-1-en-1-yl]-2-methylthiophene.
