N.;Yang, Weibo research published 《 Pd-Catalyzed Decarboxylative Olefination: Stereoselective Synthesis of Polysubstituted Butadienes and Macrocyclic P-glycoprotein Inhibitors》, the research content is summarized as follows. The efficient and stereoselective synthesis of polysubstituted butadienes, especially the multifunctional butadienes, represents a great challenge in organic synthesis. Herein, we wish to report a distinctive Pd(0) carbene-initiated decarboxylative olefination approach that enables the direct coupling of diazo esters with vinylethylene carbonates (VECs), vinyl oxazolidinones, or vinyl benzoxazinones to afford alc.-, amine-, or aniline-containing 1,3-dienes in moderate to high yields and with excellent stereoselectivity. This protocol features operational simplicity, mild reaction conditions, a broad substrate scope, and gram-scalability. Notably, a structurally unique allylic Pd(II) intermediate was isolated and characterized. DFT calculation and control experiments demonstrated that a rare Pd(0) carbene intermediate could be involved in this reaction. Moreover, the polysubstituted butadienes as novel building blocks were unprecedentedly assembled into macrocycles, which efficiently inhibited the P-glycoprotein and dramatically reversed multidrug resistance in cancer cells by 190-fold.

Several catalysts synthesized by covalently binding Rh and Ir complexes to NH2 and PPh2 functional groups of the linker chains on the functionalized silica gel surface were compared in gas-phase hydrogenation of propyne and propene. Their stability, activity and product selectivity were evaluated. Furthermore, the use of parahydrogen in the reaction provided useful mechanistic information by delivering nuclear spin hyperpolarization of the reaction products with the associated enhancement of their NMR signals. In contrast to Rh-based catalysts which showed a pronounced tendency to reduction, for Ir-based catalysts an XPS anal. did not reveal any indication of the formation of a metal phase under reducing conditions upon hydrogenation of propyne or propene at 120°C. Catalysts with a π-acceptor ligand PPh2 demonstrated greater activity in the gas-phase hydrogenation of propyne/propene in comparison with σ-donor ligand NH2. Furthermore, NMR signal enhancements of up to ca. 700- (Rh) and 800-fold (Ir) were achieved. Remarkably, the Ir metal complex bound via the phosphine moiety demonstrated high stability in gas-phase hydrogenation of propyne along with high catalytic activity and pairwise H2 addition selectivity, yielding substantial quantities of strongly hyperpolarized propene.

Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) dichloride has been synthesized by reacting furfural with chloride and acetonitrile. The ligand used was 2,2′-bipyridine. The reaction time to produce bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) dichloride is approximately three hours.
, COA of Formula: C16H24Cl2Ir2

Chloride substituents modify the physical properties of organic compounds in several ways. 12112-67-3, formula is C16H24Cl2Ir2, Name is Chloro(1,5-cyclooctadiene)iridium(I) dimer. They are typically denser than water due to the presence of chlorine, which has a high atomic weight. COA of Formula: C16H24Cl2Ir2.

Siu, Yuk-Ming;Roane, James;Krische, Michael J. research published 《 Total Synthesis of Leiodermatolide A via Transfer Hydrogenative Allylation, Crotylation, and Propargylation: Polyketide Construction beyond Discrete Allyl- or Allenylmetal Reagents》, the research content is summarized as follows. The total synthesis of leiodermatolide A (I) was accomplished in 13 steps (LLS). Transfer hydrogenative variants of three carbonyl additions that traditionally rely on premetalated reagents (allylation, crotylation, and propargylation) are deployed together in one total synthesis.

12112-67-3, Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C16H24Cl2Ir2-2 and its molecular weight is 671.7 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.
Bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)diiridium(I) Dichloride is a catalyst used in the iridium-catalyzed asymmetry hydrogenation of unfunctionalized exocyclic double carbon bonds. Also, it is used to test new NeoPHOX ligands derived from serine or threonine.
