MS (EI) m/z 318 [M]++1 chlorine.

Hydrogen chloride 1.25 M in methanol (2.478 mL, 3.10 mmol) was added and the resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated and purified by preparative HPLC. The fractions containing the product were pooled and the MeCN was removed in vacuo. Saturated aqueous NaHCO3 was added to the residue and the mixture was extracted with DCM (3*10 mL).
