Li, Zengxing’s team published research in Chemosphere in 2022-11-30 | 22519-64-8

Chemosphere published new progress about Crystallinity. 22519-64-8 belongs to class chlorides-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is Cl3H8InO4, Recommanded Product: Indium(III) chloride tetrahydrate.

Li, Zengxing; Ng, Kim Hoong; Xu, Shen; Zhang, Yingzhen; Lei, Yonggang; Huang, Jianying; Lai, Yuekun published the artcile< Facile preparation of tremella-like TiO2/Cd:ZnIn2S4 photoanode with enhanced photo-electro-chemical (PEC) performance for energy and environmental applications>, Recommanded Product: Indium(III) chloride tetrahydrate, the main research area is titanium oxide cadmium zinc indium sulfate nanocomposite photoanode; Photoanode; Photoelectrochemical; TiO(2) nanotubes; ZnIn(2)S(4).

The realization of solar-driven photoelectrochem. (PEC) process lies in the success development of materials with excellent photoelec. properties. Past reports identified TiO2, upon modified with both Cd and ZnIn2S4 (ZIS), exhibits promising PEC performance; however, at the cost of tedious preparation In view of this, our work proposes a facile one-step hydrothermal strategy to deposit both modifiers onto the pre-obtained TiO2 nanotubes (NTs), realizing rose-like TiO2/ZnIn2S4 (TiO2/ZIS) or tremella-like TiO2/Cd:ZnIn2S4 (TiO2/Cd:ZIS) with improved PEC performances. Interestingly, the thickness of ZIS petals, which deposited on top of TiO2 NTs, is pos.-correlated to its Cd-composition, signifying the substitutional doping of Cd into the unit cell of ZIS. This renders robust ionic interactions between the constituents, prompting the enhanced optical properties of TiO2 in conjecture to its reduced impedance. As a result, the recombination rate of photo-elec.-derived carriers was drastically suppressed, with an improved photocurrent d. of 606.2μA cm-2 recorded by TiO2/Cd:ZIS photoanode under solar irradiation Such performance is 80 times and 5.16 times higher than those of bare TiO2 NTs and TiO2/ZIS counterparts. The photoconversion efficiencies in terms of incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE) and applied bias photon current efficiency (ABPE) for TiO2/Cd:ZIS were significantly improved too, recorded at 1.12% and 0.38%, resp., under standard evaluation condition. As summary, our work proposes a facile one-step hydrothermal approach that simultaneously-deposit both Cd and ZIS onto TiO2 photoanode for an enhanced PEC performance. This opens up a wider horizon for PEC technol., further unlocking its potential in both energy and environmental applications.

RSC Advances published new progress about Contact angle. 1592-20-7 belongs to class chlorides-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C9H9Cl, Formula: C9H9Cl.

Ju, Changha; Park, Chanhyuk; Kim, Taehyung; Kang, Hyo published the artcile< Vertical alignment of liquid crystals on plant-based vanillin derivative-substituted polystyrene films>, Formula: C9H9Cl, the main research area is vanillin polystyrene film liquid crystal thermal optical property.

To investigate the alignment behavior of liquid crystal (LC) mols., we synthesized a series of vanillin derivative-substituted polystyrene films (PVAN#, # = 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100), where # is the substitution ratio (%) of the vanillyl Bu ether (VAN) moiety as one of the bio-renewable vanillin derivatives In general, a vertical LC alignment was observed in the LC cell fabricated using the polymer film having a higher molar content of VAN. Moreover, the surface energies of these polymer films were strongly related to the vertical LC alignment behavior. For example, a uniform vertical alignment was observed when the polar surface energy of the polymer was lower than approx. 2.05 mJ m-2, induced by the nonpolar and long carbon groups in the plant-based vanillin moiety. The LC cell fabricated using PVAN100 had good electrooptical characteristics such as voltage holding ratio and residual direct-current voltage and stable alignment under extreme external conditions.

European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry published new progress about Allergy. 162046-61-9 belongs to class chlorides-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C8H4ClF3O2, COA of Formula: C8H4ClF3O2.

Richards, Mark L.; Lio, Shirley Cruz; Sinha, Anjana; Banie, Homayon; Thomas, Richard J.; Major, Michael; Tanji, Mark; Sircar, Jagadish C. published the artcile< Substituted 2-phenyl-benzimidazole derivatives: novel compounds that suppress key markers of allergy>, COA of Formula: C8H4ClF3O2, the main research area is phenyl benzimidazole derivative marker allergy.

The pharmacotherapy of allergy and asthma has traditionally focused on the effecter mols. of the allergic cascade, while neglecting targets that play an early role in their development. Reasoning that IgE is central to the expansion of atopic diseases, we identified and extended a novel family of 2-(substituted phenyl)-benzimidazole inhibitors of IgE response. Pharmacol. activity depends on an intact phenylbenzimidazole-bis-amide backbone, and is optimized by the presence of lipophilic terminal groups composed of either bis cycloalkyl or combinations of aliphatic and halogen-substituted aromatic groups. These compounds also inhibit IL-4 and IL-5 responses in T cells and CD23 expression on B cells, with potencies that parallel their inhibition of IgE. The broad profile of these compounds thus underscores their potential for treating the multifarious pathol. of asthma.

Han, Yong; Zheng, Bo; Peng, Yungui published the artcile< Construction of Chiral 2-Substituted Octahydroindoles from Cyclic Ketones and Nitroolefins Bearing only One α-Substituent>, COA of Formula: C8H8BrCl, the main research area is cyclic ketone nitroolefin amine phosphoric acid catalyst Michael addition; gamma nitro ketone preparation enantioselective intramol reductive amination; octahydroindole preparation.

A dual catalytic system was developed following the screening of a series of chiral primary amine catalysts and chiral phosphoric acid catalysts for the Michael addition of cyclic ketones to nitroolefins bearing only one α-substituent. The resulting γ-nitro ketones, which contain a substituent on the carbon connected to the nitro group, were formed in excellent yields (>80%) with high levels of stereoselectivity (up to 94:6 dr and 98% ee) when the reaction was performed in benzene at 0° with 10 mol% of the optimal amine/phosphoric acid combination (1:1) as a catalyst. Subsequent reduction of the nitro group followed by intramol. reductive amination afforded optically active cis-octahydroindole analogs bearing a non-functional substituent at their 2-position.

Macromolecules (Washington, DC, United States) published new progress about Amphiphiles. 1592-20-7 belongs to class chlorides-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C9H9Cl, Safety of 1-(Chloromethyl)-4-vinylbenzene.

Chen, Xi; Talley, Samantha J.; Haag, James V.; Spiering, Glenn A.; Liu, Boer; Drummey, Kevin J.; Murayama, Mitsuhiro; Moore, Robert B.; Long, Timothy E. published the artcile< Doubly Charged ABA Triblock Copolymers: Thermomechanically Robust Physical Network and Hierarchical Microstructures>, Safety of 1-(Chloromethyl)-4-vinylbenzene, the main research area is doubly charged triblock copolymer synthesis thermomechanically robust network microstructure.

This manuscript describes the structure-property-morphol. relationships of doubly charged 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) salt-containing ABA triblock ionomers. The triblock copolymers consist a soft poly(Bu acrylate) (PnBA) central block and two external styrenic hard blocks bearing amphiphilic pendant C18-alkyl groups and doubly charged salt units. Surprisingly, the DABCO salt-containing ABA block copolymers preserved the thermomech. integrity until degradation, which indicated the formation of a reinforcing phys. network compared to the corresponding doubly charged random copolymers and singly charged block copolymer analogs. Small-angle X-ray scattering data revealed that the DABCO-based ABA block copolymers self-assembled into highly ordered hierarchical microstructures, in which the soft and hard domain of the block copolymers phase-separated into highly ordered lamellar morphologies. Moreover, a secondary structure that originated from the ordering of the amphiphilic pendant groups formed within the lamellar hard domain. The interesting thermal, thermomech., and morphol. properties of doubly charged ionic block copolymers open promising avenues for the synthesis of novel thermoplastic elastomers.
