Highly efficient manganese (III) oxide submerged catalytic ceramic membrane for nonradical degradation of emerging organic compounds was written by Chen, Li;Maqbool, Tahir;Fu, Wanyi;Yang, Yulong;Hou, Congyu;Guo, Jianning;Zhang, Xihui. And the article was included in Separation and Purification Technology in 2022.Synthetic Route of C13H9Cl3N2O This article mentions the following:

In this study the performance of catalytic ceramic membranes in activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the degradation of emerging organic contaminants (EOCs) was investigated. The catalytic ceramic membrane (MnCM) integrated with Mn2O3 nanoparticles was fabricated by a solid-state sintering method. Phys. and chem. properties of MnCM were characterized by SEM/EDX, XRD, BET, AFM and XPS. The MnCM/PMS system has shown excellent decontamination efficiencies (81-97% removal) for different EOCs. Acetaminophen (APAP) has been efficiently degraded by MnCM/PMS in different real water matrixes and harsh water conditions. Based on results of quenching experiments and ESR (EPR) analyses, non-radical pathway with singlet oxygen (1O2) was the dominant ROS for the degradation of EOCs. The membrane pores in active layer acted as micro-reactors for the interaction among active sites, PMS, and EOCs. The MnCM/PMS system showed outstanding catalytic stability with high mineralization (TOC removal of ∼ 65%) and negligible leaching of the manganese (1.3-1.5μg/L) in permeate. Hydroxylation and C-N bond cleavage were found to be the main degradation pathways of APAP by MnCM/PMS system. The MnCM prepared in this study with excellent performance could be a way forward for applications at large-scale or full-scale water systems suffering from heavy loads or trace amount of refractory organic compounds In the experiment, the researchers used many compounds, for example, 1-(4-Chlorophenyl)-3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)urea (cas: 101-20-2Synthetic Route of C13H9Cl3N2O).

Cyclic Trinuclear Copper(I) Complex Exhibiting Aggregation-Induced Emission: A Novel Fluorescent Probe for the Selective Detection of Gold(III) Ions was written by Li, Haozhen;Luo, Jie;Zhang, Zhi-Yin;Wei, Rong-Jia;Xie, Mo;Huang, Yong-Liang;Ning, Guo-Hong;Li, Dan. And the article was included in Inorganic Chemistry in 2022.Application of 76-83-5 This article mentions the following:

Coordination complexes with aggregation-induced-emission (AIE) behavior has drawn much attention because of their promising applications. Conventionally, the AIE-active metal-organic complexes are prepared from an AIE-active organic ligand, and the construction of such coordination complexes from aggregation-caused-quenching (ACQ) ligands is still challenging. Herein, we have synthesized two new cyclic trinuclear complexes (CTCs), namely, 1 and 2, from copper(I) and silver(I) and a ACQ ligand [4-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)benzaldehyde, HL]. (1) Exhibited AIE behavior, and the emission intensity is enhanced ~20 times when it aggregates, which can be attributed to its tight packing and multiple intermol. hydrogen bonds that restrained the intramol. rotation, as confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction anal. On the other hand, (2) displayed ACQ effects, and the emission intensity is decreased ~5 times when it aggregates. This ACQ behavior of 2 is related to its loose packing and free rotation of the ligand in crystals, resulting in nonradiative decay and fluorescence quenching. Interestingly, the CTCs 1 and 2 both exhibited a good affinity to gold(III) ions, allowing selective detection and sensing of gold ions. More importantly, the 2 shows a good limit of detection (3.28μmol/L) and an ultrafast responsive time (~2 s). Our studies pave a new route to designing novel AIE-active coordination complexes and further exploring the functionality of CTCs. A novel copper immobilized on biomimetic assembled CM-cellulose/calcium carbonate hybrid (CuII@CMC/CaCO3) as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles has been described herein. The fabrication of CuII@CMC/CaCO3 is accomplished through a bioinspired mineralization process using sodium CM-cellulose (CMC-Na) as the template and ion exchange agent, while the metathesis, nucleation, assemble, hybridization, and immobilization of Cu(II) occurred by successful treatment with CaCl2, Na2CO3, and CuSO4 in water at room temperature The resultant CuII@CMC/CaCO3 hybrid was well characterized by various analyses such as FT-IR, XRD, SEM, EDX, EDX-mapping, TEM, and TGA techniques. In the presence of low copper loading of CuII@CMC/CaCO3 hybrid, benzylic halides, azide, and alkynes proceeded smoothly to afford 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles in high yields. The catalyst can be conveniently recovered from the reaction mixture by filter and reused for at least 5 consecutive runs with a slight drop in its catalytic activity. The remarkable activity and stability of the catalyst may be attributed to the coordination of both carboxyl and hydroxyl groups of the hybrid of CMC/CaCO3.
