The resulting organic layer was dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to give 1:1 mixture of 2-(4-chloro-3-fluoro-2-methoxyphenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolane and 2-(2-chloro-3-fluoro-4-methoxyphenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolane as light yellow oil that was used in the next step without further purification (300 mg): ESIMS m/z 271 ([M+H]+1).
