The heat capacities at constant pressure of some α,ω-bromochloroalkanes (from C2 to C6) and α,ω-dibromoalkanes (from C2 to C12, without C7 and C10) were measured within the temperature range of (285.15 to 355.15) K. The measurements were performed by means of a Micro DSC III (Setaram) differential scanning calorimeter. The dependence of molar heat capacity on temperature and hydrocarbon chain length was described by the group additivity method.
