《Construction of [5/7/5] Fused Tricyclic Sulfones via Ring-Rearrangement Metathesis》 was written by Kotha, Sambasivarao; Fatma, Ambareen. Name: Benzylidenebis(tricyclohexylphosphine)dichlororuthenium And the article was included in ChemistrySelect in 2020. The article conveys some information:
A simple and efficient synthetic approach to tricyclic sulfones containing fused [5/7/5] ring system, e.g., I from three isomeric Diels-Alder adducts via ring-rearrangement metathesis (RCM) as a key step was described. Herein, seven membered sulfone containing ring system was developed, which encountered as constituents of HIV protease inhibitor. This simple approach allowed the synthesis of highly fused tricyclic sulfones which were difficult to design by conventional methods. In the part of experimental materials, we found many familiar compounds, such as Benzylidenebis(tricyclohexylphosphine)dichlororuthenium(cas: 172222-30-9Name: Benzylidenebis(tricyclohexylphosphine)dichlororuthenium)
Benzylidenebis(tricyclohexylphosphine)dichlororuthenium(cas: 172222-30-9) is a ruthenium-based olefin metathesis catalyst. It is useful for olefin cross metathesis (CM) and ring closing metathesis (RCM) of terminal olefins under a variety of reactions conditions, and so on.Name: Benzylidenebis(tricyclohexylphosphine)dichlororuthenium
