Okada, Masahiro published the artcileChemical structure and biological activity of a quorum sensing pheromone from Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto, Product Details of C19H14Cl2, the publication is Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters (2015), 25(19), 4293-4296, database is CAplus and MEDLINE.
Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto secretes a peptide pheromone, named ComXnatto pheromone, as an inducer for biofilm formation containing poly-γ-glutamic acid. Recently, the ComXnatto pheromone was identified to be a hexapeptide with an amino acid sequence of Lys-Trp-Pro-Pro-Ile-Glu, and the tryptophan residue was post-translationally modified with a farnesyl group. To determine the precise modification of the tryptophan residue, ComXnatto pheromone was synthesized using solid-phase peptide synthesis. Biol. activity of the ComXnatto pheromone was then investigated. It was demonstrated that poly-γ-glutamic acid production were accelerated by ComXnatto pheromone at more than 1 nM in natto.
Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters published new progress about 42074-68-0. 42074-68-0 belongs to chlorides-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Chloride,Benzyl chloride,Benzene, name is 2-Chlorotrityl chloride, and the molecular formula is C19H14Cl2, Product Details of C19H14Cl2.
