Development of magnetic dispersive micro-solid phase extraction based on magnetic agarose nanoparticles and deep eutectic solvents for the isolation and pre-concentration of three flavonoids in edible natural samples was written by Majidi, Seyedeh Maedeh;Hadjmohammadi, Mohammad Reza. And the article was included in Talanta in 2021.HPLC of Formula: 75-57-0 The following contents are mentioned in the article:

In the present study, an environmentally friendly magnetic dispersive micro-solid phase extraction was developed based on magnetic agarose nanoparticles and deep eutectic solvents for the isolation and pre-concentration of three flavonoids (morin, quercetin, and kaempferol) from dark tea, chocolate, vegetable, and fruit juice samples. In this method, deep eutectic solvents were synthesized from less toxic and low-cost substances under feasible conditions and used as eluents in the desorption process. These solvents can be considered as a green alternative to traditional organic reagents to increase the adsorption capacity and reduce the matrix interferences, dangerous waste generation and environmental pollution. A Plackett-Burman design was employed for screening the exptl. variables. The effective variables were then optimized by Box-Behnken design (BBD). Under the optimial conditions, the presented method demonstrated wide linear ranges of 1-500μg. L-1 for morin and quercetin, and 5-500μg. L-1 for kaempferol with satisfactory recoveries above 91%. Limit of detections (LODs) and quantifications (LOQs) of flavonoids varied in 0.2-1.1μg. L-1 and 0.66-3.63μg. L-1, resp. The precision of the proposed method was the range of 2.6-5.7%. The most common working mechanism of photodynamic therapy is based on high-toxicity singlet oxygen, which is called Type II photodynamic therapy. But it is highly dependent on oxygen consumption. Recently, Type I photodynamic therapy has been found to have better hypoxia tolerance to ease this restriction. However, few strategies are available on the design of Type I photosensitizers. We herein report an unexpected strategy to alleviate the limitation of traditional photodynamic therapy by biotinylation of three photosensitizers (two fluorescein-based photosensitizers and the com. available Protoporphyrin). The three biotiylated photosensitizers named as compound 1, 2 and 3, exhibit impressive ability in generating both superoxide anion radicals and singlet oxygen. Moreover, compound 1 can be activated upon low-power white light irradiation with stronger ability of anion radicals generation than the other two. The excellent combinational Type I / Type II photodynamic therapy performance has been demonstrated with the photosensitizers 1. This work presents a universal protocol to provide tumor-targeting ability and enhance or trigger the generation of anion radicals by biotinylation of Type II photosensitizers against tumor hypoxia. Currently, water quality assessment has become a necessity in order to maintain healthy living. Point and non-point sources of water pollutants are either organic or inorganic in nature. Non-volatile organic compounds (nVOCs) mostly exist as solids at room temperature and are used on a large scale in most chem. industries. Since these nVOCs are toxic to both animals and humans and some of these non-volatile organic compounds are carcinogenic, it is important to analyze the water in order to ascertain its quality by identifying which types of compounds arepresent in these systems and quantifying them. This work reports on the use of a new and alternative method for qual. anal. of nVOCs in water systems. Anal. was done for 13 sampling sites (seven from wastewater and six from surface water found in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal provinces, resp.).Vacuum evaporation followed by methanol extraction of the residues was performed. Fourier Transform IR (FTIR) was conducted using NaCl disk and KBr pellets and their results compared. High Performance Liquid Chromatog. (HPLC) was chosen as a technique for comparison and to prove that the simple IR (IR) can be used instead. In addition, HPLC is an ideal anal. technique for non-volatile substances. Reporter Protein-Targeted Probes for Magnetic Resonance Imaging was written by Strauch, Renee C.;Mastarone, Daniel J.;Sukerkar, Preeti A.;Song, Ying;Ipsaro, Jonathan J.;Meade, Thomas J.. And the article was included in Journal of the American Chemical Society in 2011.Computed Properties of C6H12BrCl The following contents are mentioned in the article:

Contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging are frequently employed as exptl. and clin. probes. Drawbacks include low signal sensitivity, fast clearance, and nonspecificity that limit efficacy in exptl. imaging. In order to create a bioresponsive MR contrast agent, a series of four Gd(III) complexes targeted to the HaloTag reporter were designed and synthesized. HaloTag is unique among reporter proteins for its specificity, versatility, and the covalent interaction between substrate and protein. In similar systems, these properties produce prolonged in vivo lifetimes and extended imaging opportunities for contrast agents, longer rotational correlation times, and increases in relaxivity (r1) upon binding to the HaloTag protein. The authors report a new MR contrast probe, 2CHTGd, which forms a covalent bond with its target protein and results in a dramatic increase in sensitivity. A 6-fold increase in r1, from 3.8 to 22 mM-1 s-1, is observed upon 2CHTGd binding to the target protein. This probe was designed for use with the HaloTag protein system which allows for a variety of substrates (specific for MRI, florescence, or protein purification applications) to be used with the same reporter. Eutectic solvents with tuneable hydrophobicity: lipid dissolution and recovery was written by Lo, Calvin;Semerel, Jeltzlin;van den Berg, Corjan;Wijffels, Rene H.;Eppink, Michel H. M.. And the article was included in RSC Advances in 2021.Application of 5137-55-3 The following contents are mentioned in the article:

Despite the promising advantages of eutectic solvents, the application of these solvents as an extraction solvent is still limited due to the challenging product recovery. Previously, it was reported that lipids could be recovered from a hydrophobic eutectic solvent with the principle of switchable hydrophobicity. However, this method still involves addnl. chems., such as polymeric amines, water, and CO2, which need to be removed later. In this study, we proposed a different approach by shifting the hydrophobicity spectrum of a semi-hydrophobic solvent. Made of hydrophilic imidazole and hydrophobic hexanoic acid, this combination showed tuneable hydrophobicity when the composition was changed, shown by the change of dipolarity (π*) scale from solvatochromic anal. At low imidazole content, the solvent was able to dissolve sunflower oil and algae oil, whereas, at high imidazole content, the solvent showed high affinity towards water. By adding imidazole to the solution of oil and the solvent, a phase split was induced between the oil-rich upper phase and the solvent-rich lower phase. With this approach, -75% of recovery efficiency was achieved for the two oils, with the purity of âˆ?00% for sunflower oil and 86% for algae oil. Chemists extensively use free radical reactivity for applications in organic synthesis, materials science, and life science. Traditionally, generating radicals requires strategies that exploit the bond dissociation energy or the redox properties of the precursors. Here, we disclose a photochem. catalytic approach that harnesses different phys. properties of the substrate to form carbon radicals. We use a nucleophilic dithiocarbamate anion catalyst, adorned with a well-tailored chromophoric unit, to activate alkyl electrophiles via an SN2 pathway. The resulting photon-absorbing intermediate affords radicals upon homolytic cleavage induced by visible light. This catalytic SN2-based strategy, which exploits a fundamental mechanistic process of ionic chem., grants access to open-shell intermediates from a variety of substrates that would be incompatible with or inert to classical radical-generating strategies. We also describe how the method’s mild reaction conditions and high functional group tolerance could be advantageous for developing C-C bond-forming reactions, for streamlining the preparation of a marketed drug, for the late-stage elaboration of biorelevant compounds and for enantioselective radical catalysis. Synthetic dyes can cause many health problems, and their use as food additives is rigorously regulated worldwide. Two methods for the determination of synthetic dyes in food are described in this article. The visual qual. expression method was based on the extraction of synthetic dyes using a liquid anion exchanger (0.01 M solution of trioctylmethylammonium chloride in chloroform). Using this reagent, an optimal transition of 15 anionic synthetic dyes from the aqueous to the organic phase was achieved (R > 99.8%). It was applicable for testing food that must not contain synthetic dyes (wines, juices, etc.) in a very short time (5-10 min). In the case of coloring of the organic phase, identification and quantification was carried out using the HPLC-DAD method described. The rapid and simple method allows for simultaneous determination of 16 synthetic dyes from all food types. The LOD and LOQ ranged from 0.026 to 0.086μg mL-1 and from 0.077 to 0.262μg mL-1 resp., and recovery was 83.7-107.5%. The removal of pesticide 2,4-D by single photolysis, electrolysis with BDD anode and a combined UV irradiation-electrolysis was studied. Although photolysis is completely inefficient in the degradation of this pesticide, light irradiation improves significantly the results obtained by single electrolysis, leading to harsher oxidation conditions, which contribute to reduce the number of intermediates and promote mineralization. Electrolysis with diamond electrodes can attain the complete depletion of the pesticide and its mineralization regardless the c.d. applied and the light irradiation In comparing the effect of c.d., the process is much efficient operating at 10 mA cm-2, attaining complete mineralization with specific current charges <10 Ah dm-3, in spite of being detected a lower concentration of oxidants. Under absence of chlorides in the supporting electrolyte main intermediates formed were hydroquinone and 4-chlororesorcinol. Under the presence of this anion, 2-chlorophenol and 4-chlorophenol were also observed at high concentrations UV irradiation does not modify the intermediates formed although concentration is lower. In this research, we report a practical colorimetric method for the convenient anal. of residual palladium ions in drugs and drug intermediates. In a phosphate-buffered (pH 7.0) 50% aqueous DMSO solution, chlororhodol-based probe PP-1 demonstrated a prominent colorimetric (APP-1+Pd(II)/APP-1 at 531 nm is over 780) and turn-on type fluorescence signaling behavior (IPP-1+Pd(II)/IPP-1 at 561 nm is over 2000) toward palladium. The signaling was realized through the palladium-assisted hydrolysis of the thiocarbamate protecting moiety of the probe. Palladium-selective signaling was feasible in the presence of possibly interfering chem. species, and it was concluded within 7 min. The selective signaling was observed for palladium species with different oxidation states (Pd2+, Pd4+, and Pd0). The detection limit of the probe for palladium anal. was sufficiently sensitive to analyze the residual palladium in drugs and related products (LODPP-1 = 1.0 x 10-8 M, LODPP-2 = 4.3 x 10-8 M).
