The interactions of gefitinib (Iressa) in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) are hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces through quinazoline and aniline rings. However the morpholino group of gefitinib is poorly ordered due to its weak electron d. A series of novel piperazino analogs of gefitinib where morpholino groups substituted with various piperazino groups were designed and synthesized. Most of them indicated significant anti-cancer activities against human cancer cell lines. In particular, three compounds alkyl 4-(4-(3-(4-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenylamino)-7-methoxyquinazolin-6-yloxy)propyl)piperazin-1-yl)-4-oxobutanoate (alkyl = decyl, undecyl, dodecyl) showed excellent potency against cancer cells. Convergent synthetic approach has been developed for the synthesis of gefitinib intermediate which can lead to gefitinib as well as numerous analogs. The experimental process involved the reaction of Methyl 6-chloro-6-oxohexanoate(cas: 35444-44-1).SDS of cas: 35444-44-1

On November 20, 2020, Chae, Ji Eon; Yoo, Sung Jong; Kim, Jin Young; Jang, Jong Hyun; Lee, So Young; Song, Kwang Ho; Kim, Hyoung-Juhn published an article.Recommanded Product: 80-07-9 The title of the article was Hydrocarbon-based electrode ionomer for proton exchange membrane fuel cells. And the article contained the following:

The electrode ionomer is a key factor that significantly affects the catalyst layer morphol. and fuel cell performance. Herein, sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone)-based electrode ionomers with polymers of various mol. weights and alc./water mixtures were prepared, and those comprising the alc./water mixture showed a higher performance than the ones prepared using higher boiling solvents, such as dimethylacetamide; this is owing to the formation of the uniformly dispersed ionomer catalyst layer. The relation between ionomer mol. weight for the same polymer structure and the sulfonation degree was investigated. Because the chain length of polymer varies with mol. weight and chain entanglement degree, its mol. weight affects the electrode morphol. As the ionomer covered the catalyst, the agglomerates formed were of different morphologies according to their mol. weight, which could be deduced indirectly through dynamic light scattering and SEM. Addnl., the fuel cell performance was confirmed in the current-voltage curve. The experimental process involved the reaction of 4,4′-Sulfonylbis(chlorobenzene)(cas: 80-07-9).Recommanded Product: 80-07-9

And the article contained the following:

The new poly (arylene ether sulfone) (CPAEs) polymer, and carboxylated through simple Thiol Ene reaction, is characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR. The SnO2 nanoparticles are synthesized via alk. and template free, one-pot hydrothermal method and characterized using HRTEM anal. SnO2 nanoparticles in dispersed CPAEs polymer is synthesized and examined by PXRD, SEM and TGA analyses. Further, the typical properties of bare CPAEs and 1%, 2% and 3% SnO2 NPs of dispersed CPAEs nanocomposite membranes such as water uptake, swelling ratio, ion exchange capacity, proton conductivity and oxidative stability are evaluated. The PXRD pattern suggests the successful formation of amorphous natured CPAEs polymer and tetragonal rutile structured in SnO2 NPs. It is observed that the SEM images indicate SnO2 NPs, bare CPAEs polymers as spherical and form wavelike morphol. It is also noted that the HR-TEM image has identified SnO2 NPs as non-uniform in size with an average particle size of 4 nm. 3% SnO2 NPs loaded with CPAEs nanocomposite membrane exhibits an IEC value at 0.78 mmol/g-1 and a proton conductivity value of around 1.49 x 10-3 S/cm-1 at 100°C. It shows excellent oxidative stability with a value of 12.3% degradation after being exposed to Fenton reagent at 68°C for 8 h. Kulasekaran, Poonkuzhali; Maria Mahimai, Berlina; Deivanayagam, Paradesi published an article in 2020, the title of the article was Novel cross-linked poly(vinyl alcohol)-based electrolyte membranes for fuel cell applications.Electric Literature of 80-07-9 And the article contains the following content:

Herein, a new series of polymer electrolyte membranes was prepared by chem. cross-linked poly(vinyl alc.) (PVA) and sulfonated poly(ether sulfone) (SPES). A typical polymerization reaction was conducted using three different monomers i.e. bisphenol A, phenolphthalein, and 4,4′-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone. The SPES polymer was obtained by the post-sulfonation technique using chlorosulfonic acid as a sulfonating agent. The resultant SPES polymer at different concentrations was blended with cross-linked poly(vinyl alc.). Structural anal. of the samples was conducted by FTIR, SEM, and XRD. Among the prepared PEM materials, PVA-SPES-20 blend membranes exhibited higher ion-exchange capacity and % water uptake values than those of the other membranes. In addition, the PVA-SPES-20 membrane exhibits the proton conductivity of 0.0367 S cm-1 at 30°C, whereas pristine PVA shows the proton conductivity of 0.0259 S cm-1. The overall exptl. results revealed that the PVA-SPES blend membranes are promising candidates for fuel cell applications. And the article contained the following:

Quaternary ammonium-functionalized poly(ether sulfone) (QA-PES) block copolymers with different block chain lengths were prepared as anion exchange membranes. Copolymers with similar hydrophilic/hydrophobic block ratios and hence similar IEC values, but with various oligomer block chain lengths were synthesized to investigate, for the first time, how the length of each oligomer included in the block copolymers affected the chemophys. and elec. properties of the obtained QA-PES anion exchange membranes. The copolymer with the optimal hydrophilic:hydrophobic block chain length (QA-PES-16-30) showed good phase separation This led to the optimal formation of ionic clusters, and the highest ion conductivity of 81.01 mS cm-1 at 80°C, as well as excellent physicochem. stability even after alk. treatment in 1 M NaOH at 60°C for 500 h, due to strengthening of the hydrophobic regions, strongly suggesting that the block chain length of each of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic blocks can affect the physicochem. properties of the polymer membranes. The H2/O2 single cell performance using the QA-PES-16-30 membrane showed a maximum power d. of 260 mW cm-2, much higher than that obtained from the Tokuyama A201. And the article contained the following:

To satisfy the market demand for excellent electrochem. performance, a flexible gel polymer electrolyte (GPE-EO) based on poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymers containing polyether side chains (PAES-EO) was prepared via an ion-exchange reaction with ammonium poly(aryl ether sulfone) (PAES-N) and PEG-SO3-K+ containing EO segments. Li2SO4 was used as the electrolyte salt for the supercapacitor to obtain a wider potential window (1.5 V) and the electrochem. performance of the supercapacitors based on polymer electrolytes with or without EO segments was evaluated and analyzed. With the introduction of EO segments, the electrolyte uptake ratio of the electrolyte membrane increased to 53.29% and delivered a higher ionic conductivity of 8.26 x 10-4 S cm-1. The supercapacitor based on GPE-EO exhibits a high capacitance of 153.8 F g-1 and an energy d. of 11.67 W h kg-1 at a c.d. of 0.1 A g-1. Simultaneously, this supercapacitor based on GPE-EO possessed excellent flexibility even at a bending angle of 180° and outstanding cycle stability with negligible specific capacitance loss after 5000 cycles. This improvement of performance of gel polymer electrolytes and supercapacitors demonstrates that introducing EO segments can increase the electrochem. performance of PEAS based energy storage devices.
