4,6-Dichloro-N-phenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-amine (cas: 2272-40-4) belongs to organic chlorides. An organic chloride is an organic compound containing at least one covalently bonded atom of chlorine. Their wide structural variety and divergent chemical properties lead to a broad range of names and applications. Alkyl chlorides are versatile building blocks in organic chemistry. While alkyl bromides and iodides are more reactive, alkyl chlorides tend to be less expensive and more readily available.Reference of 2272-40-4

Synthesis of 9-anilinoacridine triazines as new class of hybrid antimalarial agents was written by Kumar, Ashok;Srivastava, Kumkum;Raja Kumar, S.;Puri, S. K.;Chauhan, Prem M. S.. There is challenge and urgency to synthesize cost-effective chemotherapeutic agents for treatment of malaria after the widespread development of resistance to chloroquine (CQ). In the present study, we synthesized a new series of hybrid 9-anilinoacridine triazines using the cheap chems. 6,9-dichloro-2-methoxy acridine and cyanuric chloride. The series of new hybrid 9-anilinoacridine triazines were evaluated in vitro for their antimalarial activity against CQ-sensitive 3D7 strain of Plasmodium falciparum and their cytotoxicity were determined on VERO cell line. Of the evaluated compounds, two compounds I (R = (CH2)3NMe2, IC50 = 4.21 nM; R = NH2, IC50 = 4.27 nM) displayed two times higher potency than CQ (IC50 = 8.15 nM). Most of the compounds showed fairly high selectivity index. The compounds II (X = H and F) displayed >96.59% and 98.73% suppression, resp., orally against N-67 strain of Plasmodium yoelii in swiss mice at dose 100 mg/kg for four days. This study involved multiple reactions and reactants, such as 4,6-Dichloro-N-phenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-amine (cas: 2272-40-4Reference of 2272-40-4).
