On April 22, 1999, Moeller, Hinrich; Meinigke, Bernd published a patent.Recommanded Product: 4569-86-2 The title of the patent was Use of phenazinium salts for dyeing keratin fibers. And the patent contained the following:

Phenazinium salts I [R1, R2 = (alkyl- or aryl-substituted) amino; R3, R6 = H, C1-4 alkyl, (alkyl- or aryl-substituted) amino; R4, R5 = H, C1-4 alkyl; R7 = C1-4 alkyl, aryl; X- = anion] are provided as direct hair dyes which produce excellent brilliance and depth of color with many color nuances. The dyes show excellent fastness with little potential for sensitization. Thus, a hair-dyeing cream containing 0.1 weight% Methylene Violet 3RAX, applied to blond hair for 30 min at 30°, produced a beet-red color. The experimental process involved the reaction of 3-Amino-7-(diethylamino)-5-phenylphenazin-5-ium chloride(cas: 4569-86-2).Recommanded Product: 4569-86-2
